Lecture given by Professor Li Jiahua,“The First Person in China's Entrepreneurship Education”

On the morning of May 20th, WZBC received the visit by Professor Li Jiahua, “The First Person in China's Entrepreneurship Education”. During his visit, Professor Li an in-depth exchange with our college's entrepreneurial tutors and student representatives on the topic of “promoting the deep integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional education”. The meeting was attended also by Xie Jian, Executive vice president of WZBC, and was chaired by Lin Shengguang, deputy secretary of the WZBC Party Committee and dean of the School of Entrepreneurship. Professor Li Jiahua was hired as a visiting professor at the meeting.


At the meeting, Professor Li said that the society has a ternary structure, namely economic, political, and cultural, and humanity's biggest strength in economic development is management. But the management-oriented economy focuses on control and will eventually be replaced by a liberating entrepreneurial economy. He introduced in detail and exemplified typical domestic and foreign innovation and entrepreneurship education models and characteristics, and on combining the characteristics of Wenzhou and Wenzhou businessmen, he gave constructive opinions and suggestions for WZBC’s innovation and entrepreneurship education. Professor Li proposed that our school should seize the opportunity of transformation, bring international education to the innovation and entrepreneurship education model, and cultivate new talents with an international vision and administrative capacity.


During the  Q&A session, many teachers and students and Professor Li had an in-depth discussion on mobile reading, the usefulness of case teaching, and the promotion of the business ethics in modern times. The atmosphere was lively. This exchange  promoted our teachers and students' understanding of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship.
